Before & After ("the App") is a daily word puzzle game developed by Heart Rock ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

Automatically Collected Information

• Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, puzzles completed, and general engagement metrics. This data does not personally identify you.
• Crash Reports: We collect anonymous crash and performance data through Firebase to help us improve app stability.
• Advertising ID: Our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads.
• Device Information: Basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and timezone may be collected for analytics and to deliver the correct daily puzzle.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not collect location data beyond your timezone.
• We do not collect photos, contacts, or any data from other apps on your device.

How We Use Information

• To deliver the daily puzzle based on your timezone
• To track your game progress locally on your device
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob
• To analyze app usage and improve the game experience
• To diagnose crashes and technical issues

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Cloud Functions & Firestore - for delivering daily puzzles

Data Storage

Game progress (scores, completed puzzles) is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data is not transmitted to our servers. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app will remove this local data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is a general-audience word puzzle game.

Your Choices

• Advertising ID: You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Advertising on iOS, or Settings > Google > Ads on Android).
• Analytics: You can limit analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings.
• Uninstall: You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App.
